Meet the Team

 

Jan Pichl, Software Engineer (2008 - Present)

Jan re-located to Oldham from Stoke on Trent to join Innovative Technology in 2008.
Originally employed as a Repairs Technician Jan demonstrated a real aptitude for resolving complex software issues and was quickly promoted to Applications Engineer (2009) and to Software Engineer (2010). Now a key part of the software team Jan develops software for new products and modifies existing product software to fit specific customer requirements.
Jan is a versatile engineer who in his daily work supports both the Development and Customer Support Teams. Jan has travelled extensively around the world, providing technical software support to our worldwide offices and customers.
Jan is currently being sponsored by the Company to complete an Open University degree in Computing & IT

 

Craig Hall, Electronics Production Engineer (2009 - Present)

Craig achieved straight A Grades at Ashton-under-Lyne Sixth Form College in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry and joined the Company in 2009 as an Apprentice. Currently in his final year of the Apprenticeship Craig is studying for an HNC in Electrical / Electronics Engineering at Tameside College.
Throughout his Apprenticeship Craig has been able to put the theoretical knowledge gained at college into practice, diagnosing PCB faults down to component level, conduct mechanical and electronic fault diagnosis and repairing and modifying products. Craig has proved to be a real asset to the Company and plans to study a part-time Electronics degree over the next few years.

 

Adrian Midgley, Design Engineer (2010 - Present)

Adrian was awarded a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design & Technology in 2008 from Loughborough University and during his sandwich degree undertook a year long industrial placement at a product design consultancy firm. Adrian joined the company in 2010 and works within the Development Team.
Adrian is currently working on a new addition to one of our existing products. Beginning with just an idea and a sketch Adrian develops his design using CAD software and then Physical Prototypes to create a real product. Working within a multi-disciplined Development Team Adrian demonstrates real skill in creative, mechanical design.

 

Daniel Russell, Graduate Software Engineer (2011 - Present)

Daniel was awarded a BSc in Computing Science from Huddersfield University in 2011 and was one of three Graduate Software Engineers recruited by Innovative Technology during the Summer of 2011.
As part of a sandwich degree Daniel completed a yearlong industry placement which confirmed his desire to pursue a career in software. Based within the Software Design Team Daniel develops software solutions for the Development Team. Most recently Daniel has designed and developed an automated firmware testing process to test the functionality of our products. Daniel demonstrates a real aptitude to engineering and enjoys working within a multi- disciplined team.
